Sixty kilometers from the city of Junin de los Andes, Argentina there is a humble but spotless little school situated at what is called “Cuenca de Huechulafquen”.

Next to the schoolhouse there’s a Health Post called Paimun where Chefy, nickname given to Serafin Ceferino Muñoz by the people of Cuenca, is in charge of. He took a training course in first aid to meet emergencies of the schoolhouse and its surroundings.

The weather there is extremely hot and is impossible to keep the medicines safely without a proper refrigeration.

Chefy contacted CEDA asking for help to get the so very needy refrigerator to preserve the medicines.

In 2013, CEDA donated a refrigerator that had to be a gas because they have no electricity, also got volunteers who transported it from the city of Junin de los Andes, where it was purchased, to the health post.

Once again, CEDA helped to improve the lives of the communities Mapuche, Raqui and Huelafquenche.
